How Patients Feel

8My friend was just barely 43 years old when she went to get her teeth fixed. This dentist, Bruce Holdorf, had advised her to have all her lower teeth removed and given implants to replace them (essentially "new teeth"). He pulled all her lower teeth out (with inadequate anesthesia and was rude when she tried to request more), then afterward suggested she should instead opt for dentures, and had her sign a consent form on the spot while she was in the dental chair. He ended up giving her only six metal "anchor" studs, four on the bottom, to hold in place these dentures, which she was told were "temporary" (lightweight plastic plates that essentially crumbled after a short time). She refused additional treatment due to fear of further damage. After nearly two years, she is only 44 and she still has NO BOTTOM TEETH. Just four crooked metal studs that barely rise above her gumline. She has tried to get her medical records from Dr. Holdorf, who has refused to release them to her, to MCG Dental College, Kentucky's Audubon Clinic, or any other medical facility for her to get proper additional treatment based on the procedures performed here, despite these records being her legal property. She cannot afford to spend thousands more to get her mouth fixed especially with no verifiable background for any dentist to work with. Her jaw is very sunken in because she has no dentures, no implants, no teeth--nothing is left. When she thinks about it, she cries. Would you trust this doctor with YOUR teeth?
