2Writing on behalf of my sister, who is 83 years old and blind. She went in for an abscessed tooth which Dr. Barbour removed. Apparently Novocain doesn’t always work on an abscessed tooth. While Dr. Barbour was removing, the tooth broke and it had to be dug out. My sister was in agonizing pain during this procedure. In my opinion, at this point the dentist should have stopped and sent her to an oral surgeon. My sister was sent home with antibiotics but NOTHING for pain. I checked the next day, she was hysterical. In addition to her mouth pain, she had excruciating headache and pain in her neck. I called the dentist and they said take her to ER where she was given IV antibiotics. The next day, she went back to the ER because she was so sick she couldn’t even walk and was admitted to hospital for a few days. My sister went to Dr. Barbour because her longtime dentist retired. During her recovery process, no one from the office ever contacted her to see how she was doing.

4This dentist is by far the worst dentist that I have ever met. They are slow, the dentist is rude and try to charge a ton for services that are not needed. My family switched to a new dentist and have had no issues with excessive services or billing.
