1I saw Dr. Kania at another office, Healthy Teeth Beautiful Smile, for my one year old daughter. The initial visit should have been a red flag because she had poor bedside manners. We gladly received confirmation that her treatment date had been bumped up. We showed up early for her !:00 appointment. Dr. Kania showed up at 2:30 with no apologies. She came in the room, called her boss a ding dong, and put fluoride treatment on my child's teeth and left. I was never addressed. Her medical assistant informed me that we were done and had an appointment in a month for treatment. I spoke with the dentist about the mix up, and she explained she scheduled a fluoride treatment for her, without my consent and that was all for the day. I suggested that she have better communication next visit, and I was told by Dr. Kania, she will be restrained, stuck with a needle in the gums, she will be screaming and crying, and I won't be back there with her. I said "I understand. We'll discuss it at the appointment. She told me "Understand you won't be back there with her." Her tone and facial expression made me feel that she was threatening my child. Never Again
