NK Family Dental

I've been looking for a new dentist since I moved from Old Town to Logan Square nearly two years ago, and consider myself fortunate to have found NK dental.  They were able to get me a weekday evening appointment in less than two weeks, and were very helpful on the phone. The assistants were nice and did a great job of making me feel welcome/taken care, even providing me a water bottle upon arrival.  Dr. Kahn opened the practice several months ago, and it is a very modern, aesthetically appealing office, complete with netflix on the tv above the chair.  Dr. Kahn was simply fantastic, she took her time and explained everything to me.  I typically get very anxious at the dentist and she talked just enough to distract me, while avoiding the awkwardness of trying to have a full on conversation while my mouth was wide open. One of my favorite things about my old dentist was that he was never in a hurry to immediately remove all cavities.  I have a history of weak enamel/cavities, and he had been keeping an eye on a few potential problem spots.  (Larger chains in Chicago have been quick to immediately remove multiple cavities at the first suggestions of a problem.) Much like my old dentist, Dr. Kahn only recommended taking care of two obvious issues, and keeping an eye on everything else.I stumbled upon Dr. Kahn thanks to an opencare offer, and have finally found my regular dentist.  I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a good dentist who truly cares about her practice and her patients!
