It's a shame that I have to write this review, but I want to help anyone avoid the same mistake I did. Please know that I have been a patient for them for over 16 years. I've been there longer than even Dr. Lantigua himself. Please, please! stay away from this office if you want orthodontic work. It has been almost 3 years now, and my son's bite has not been improved. Please see pictures. Dr. Lantigua does not believe in extractions even if they are needed. I went to three 2nd opinion and all 3 said that extractions were needed. He does not have space for his teeth to be moved back and because of this he cannot bite down completely (see picture). I returned to office with profile x-rays (see picture) taken by another orthodontist that proves that he does not have any space and that his teeth are protruding, and they could not give me an answer other than I "should be happy his teeth are straight" and "we didn't promise you a good bit but straight teeth", and "his jaw will eventually create space when he becomes older". They wanted to remove his braces back in October 2018 but I begged them to please continue to work on the bottom teeth. Then on May of this year, they wanted to remove the top and continue to work on the bottom but like I stated, there's no more space for his teeth to improve. They also contradicted themselves several times since they said that his jaw would get bigger as an adult, but at the same time they wanted to keep his bottom braces on??? Which doesn't make sense because that means he will have them until the age of 18? After speaking to orthodontists, I had to make the decision for them to completely remove his braces and pay more money for another set of braces. I scheduled meeting with manager and even asked to speak to the dentist during our meeting. Not once, did the dentist come out to explain anything. They refused to give me any reimbursement other than the payment I did for retainers. And even with that, they lied and said I never paid. I had to ask them to please check carefully, and once they did, they realized I did pay for retainers. So please!!!! do not do braces work with this dentist. It's a shame that this happened to me since I have been with that office even longer than he has been a dentist there. It's a shame because hygienist, Ines, is one of the best in Miami.

A Very experienced and thorough dentist. In addition he is licensed for periodontal work and has performed both general dentistry and periodontal work on me. I\'m very happy with both. Lovely and very professional office staff. If you become a patient, make sure you get his personal cell phone number to call in case of emergencies.
