I walked into the office shaking and ready to run out the door. My fear of dentists is really intense. Well, I soon noticed Dr. Saba's calm demeanor and pensive mood that was in a state of waiting for me to calm down and be invited into my personal space for the consult and examination. He's amazing. He asked me about my fear; I guess it was pretty obvious that I was on the verge of freaking out. He asked me what were my concerns all the while listening and being aware that I had fear and apprehensions as well as a dental need. He told me he could fix the problem, he helped me clam down, and was there to help relieve my pain. By the middle of my procedure, I was laughing, cracking jokes, listening to music, and thinking, 'what was I so afraid of all of these years.' He took care of me as a patient and not just a dentistry issue. He's professional, great at what he does, communicates information in a concise/precise way so you know what to expect, and made me immediately feel comfortable. I will now change my dentist to his practice, and will receive regular treatments and checkups with him for as long as he practices dentistry. He should teach courses on bedside manners, patient care, and communication in dentistry school, in order to change the perceptions that people like me have of dentists. Whoever trained him must be a dentist god. LOL. If you are in the District of Columbia, Maryland, or Virginia area and looking for a great dentist that will have you laughing, comfortable, and looking forward to your next checkup...Dr.Saba should be your dentist.
