Michael V Goldman DDS Ms Chart

I went here 20 yrs ago because a friend was also getting treated by Dr. Goldman. Biggest regret of my young adult life! First off, every appointment had me waiting an hour or so. I thought this was the norm until I went with my sister to her orthodontist and she walked right through the minute she got there. Second, it took years to get my braces off (4 instead of the normal 2, and my teeth weren't even that crooked!). Third, and most important, 20 yrs later I see the effects of Dr. Goldman's shoddy work. Dentists have told me that my teeth were moved too quickly, so this shortened the roots. They also have told me that the discoloration on my front teeth was because of how my braces were applied & taken off. I was left for years with chips of adhesive stuck of one tooth, until my dentist finally chiseled if off! Then recently, I started seeing a chiropractor and discovered my jaw is totally crooked, a fact that should have been discovered by my orthodontist years ago so it could be have been corrected first before aligning my teeth to a crooked jaw. Now, if I want to correct my jaw, I will have to realign my teeth (get braces) all over again! All the health professionals who I have seen in the past 20 yrs. have said from looking at the results of my alignment that my orthodontist was not very good. In short, Dr. Goldman does shoddy work. He is only concern with getting as many patients in and out, so he over books patients & has them waiting so he can jump from one patient to the next. (I can't imagine he has changed very much.) He does NOT work with the careful, personalized attention that is required when adjusting your teeth. This is important since your teeth & jaw effect so much of your overall health (i.e. improper alignment can cause headaches, misalignment throughout the body, etc., something you don't necessarily realize when you're a teenager). I'm not usually one to write reviews, but 20 yrs. later, without any legal recourse, and to see that this guy is still in business, I truly feel obligated to warn anyone who is thinking of seeing him. I am living proof that Dr. Goldman is does not do quality work, a fact that I am sure other past patients can attest to. (Oh, and FYI, my sister had a friend who actually did successfully sue him for malpractice.) WARNING -- DO NOT GO HERE!!!! THIS GUY SHOULD HAVE HIS LICENSE REVOKED!!!!
