I am on Medicare. That means I get x-ray, cleaning and 1 filling a year. Nothing more. Dr Schopler examined me and told me I needed 2 fillings. I asked him to do one. He asked me if I had a budget for my dental care and I said I didn't. When I checked out, they told me I owed $250. and said he had done 2 fillings. His office later submitted a bill to my insurance for 2 fillings and 3 crowns. The bill was over $3,000. for work that was never done. Would never refer anyone, even someone I didn't like. Very unethical. What's worse? The filling fell out less than a year later.
