1My overall in office experience was great, I love the doctor, the lady who completed my dental cleaning was fantastic, and I was in and out very quickly. However, I only gave it a one because recently while calling to schedule my next appointment I ran into a beyond unsatisfying situation. The receptionist (Christina) answered the phone and was either in an extreme hurry or a foul mood because anytime I attempted to ask a question she interrupted me and quickly rattled off an answer. When I encountered a problem, instead of suggesting a different solution or even trying to help she got a bad attitude and proceeded to talk down to me while repeating herself, as if I was incompetent of understanding. I, myself, work in an office setting and, too, answer phones assisting patients with scheduling and questions, yet I have never treated anyone with such disrespect as I have been treated with today. I believe a friendly personality is vital to a great office because they are often the first person seen when entering the office, the most spoken with person throughout the experience, as well as the people handling your future with the business. It is normal to have bad days or even be angry at times, however, whatever is occurring should never affect how an employee treats a potential client and current patient.
