Sad part is the original Dr. Bontrager is a wonderful dentist. Nice, courteous, and very story oriented. Loves to speak about Alaska and the truth is I liked to hear about it very much. One day I became very ill around the time the Pandemic was just starting but not yet the Pandemic we know now. I called and had to cancel telling them I was very ill and did not know what was wrong. They cancelled it and later told me if I ever wanted to make another appointment I would need to put down a deposit. I had been going there for years and could not believe they were saying this to me. I have never owed them a penny when I left the office and if so it was do to insurance adjusting and I would make up the difference as soon as notified. Not because it was them but because I don\'t place my debts on the backburner. I said you would be willing to lose a customer that has been with you for years because I called in and now require a down payment for all services not yet rendered!? Well I told her

I\'m a veteran and she works at the Tucson VA. October 1st, 2021 I arrived 30-35 minutes early. Staff failed to give me a COVID test, but the actual test only takes moments; after which there is a short wait...so it can be done table side. I was there because I had a broken tooth, and while I was waiting for her to fix my tooth, she found 2 others that were cracked. I got my appointment from an emergency call in, but she argued after 45 minutes in her chair, that she could not fix my tooth because of staff did not test me for COVID. Turns out, she was keeping her schedule clean, thereby preserving an image of high quality and efficient performance which triggers bonuses and step increases for evaluations. Once the Chief was involved, she tested me for COVID, and he fixed my tooth. She was going to allow me to leave...no better off than when I came. Her interests do not lay with the patients...find someone else.

Service is always great and no wait time. I would definitely recommend them to my friends

Beware of their billing and explanation of procedures performed. Was told a specific procedure was being performed, charged insurance for something else not covered.
