Dr. Krekel was able to see me the same day when my tooth cracked from an old filling I had done when I was a teenager. The tooth ended up needing a root canal, which I had never had before. Dr. Krekel did an excellent job of explaining the procedure to me and putting me at ease. The procedure went great, I felt no pain during the appointment, and he had me back on my feet by lunch time! I will definitely be returning to his office in the future.

This dentist saw myself, my spouse, and our child for an exam and cleaning. I was told I had multiple cavities and one was so bad that it required immediate work, they wanted to do it all same day. I declined and I am so happy I did. My spouse was told they had a cavity and they chose to get it treated, My spouse has NEVER had a cavity before. They also sold my spouse sealants which are not covered for adults by insurance, why? Adults don't need them, kids do, because they aren't the best at brushing teeth. I went and got a free 2nd opinion/consult, they took additional X-rays at no cost to me, and examined my teeth, no cavities at all, a lot of healthy enamel that had some stains, I drink coffee, go figure. The area that needed so much work, it was a filling... Seriously? I wish I had asked my friend for a recommendation rather than trusting an in network provider. We will be filing complaints and I recommend if you have had a problematic experience that qualifies, that you also consider filing formal complaint, otherwise providers like this continue to abuse the trust of unknowing patients. Texas State Board of Dental Examiners, Instance (when you have had treatments that were to needed and insurance paid for it) and of course your better business bureau.
