To my surprise I received a bill for 252.00. my surprise was that I went in to have 3 broken teeth fixed or protected in some manner. Instead I received half a cleaning and an appointment to return over 6 weeks later. My insurance was charged $1233.00, I paid 192.88 out of pocket. I left with 3 broken teeth untouched or cleaned, half my mouth cleaned and an entire years Insurance allotment used up. Now I can't afford to get my broken teeth fixed. I have had some major medical issues that have also brought about some financial strains. Another close to $1500.00 plus whatever it will cost for the caps would be too much to deal with right now. My dental insurance allotment will not renew until next year. I feel like I have been scammed, I should have been told that half of a cleaning would clean out my insurance.
