Recently had a crown done by Dr. MacGregor. The experience was great from start to finish. No pain with the temporary and the permanent crown delivery was easy. I would highly recommend Dr. Mac to my friends and family..

I have medicaid insurance...my tooth was hurting me so badly I could cry...they x-rayed and told me I needed 3 teeth pulled..they told me ONLY AFTER they did xrays and made me wait in waiting room for 1hour in pain that my insurance did not cover what I needed done. They knew this before they did the xrays..but wanted to be compensationed for the xrays because I heard them talking behind my head....I was hurting so badly and it was almost funny to them that I was hurting because they took their TIME WASTING MY TIME AND WATCHING ME IN PAIN...I was told in order to get at least ONE of the 3 teeth I needed pulled I would need to pay $1000.00 DOWN OR 800 AT THE LEAST!!!..and the rest later..I did not have that amount right then..I even asked if I could pay half now due to pain and half later..I was gonna use all the money I had to pay them because I was really hurting...the dentists there refused...THEY SENT ME OUT OF THE OFFICE STILL IN EXCRUCIATING PAIN..DID NOT TRY TO HELP OR WORK WITH ME TO FIND A PAYMENT OPTION..ONE YOUNG LADY BEHIND THE COUNTER TRIED BECAUSE I WAS HURTING REALLY BADLY..AND SHE WAS TOLD TO BE QUIET BY HER COWORKER. I DID NOT HAVE THAT AMOUNT BUT I COULD HAVE PAID SOMETHING VERY CLOSE TO IT. PLEASE DO NOT GO TO THIS FACILITY. I WILL ALSO REPORTING THIS TO WHOMEVER I CAN BECAUSE PEOPLE SHOULD NOT BE TREATED THIS WAY!!! ESPECIALLY WITH A TOOTHACHE THAT COULD CAUSE INFECTION AND KILL YOU....
Louisiana Dental, BOUTTE Clinic, HIT ALL THE TARGETS! If your rating system is “5”, We would rate them a “10”. From the very friendly, helpful and encouraging Scheduler, Mandy, through the entire appointment experience, Dr Hamdon, and his tech. The doctor was caring, listened to my husband’s concerns, accommodated his extreme dental anxiety, made the numbing process painless, he explained everything he was doing throughout the procedure, and due to my husband’s very sensitive gag reflex, Dr. Hamdon adjusted his extraction of 2 teeth by working in a manner that did not trigger the reflex, and it was not a secondary issue for him like it has been in the past dental experiences which has caused his anxiety. He stated he really felt confident that Dr Hamdon understood his concerns, was honest in his communications of the condition and needed treatment, addressed the condition appropriately without prolonged delays or unnecessary procedures, and was excellent in the extractions process without experiencing pain or fear. I am very thankful for Dr Hamdon’s assistance in resolving this very painful condition for my husband. Along with Mandy’s information regarding my insurance, and encouragement in the scheduling process. We live in Hammond, and driving to the Boutte Office was absolutely worth the distance. We would highly recommend Louisiana Dental, the Office Staff of the BOUTTE Clinic, and Dr. Hamdons dental treatment, to our family, friends, and anyone looking for great dental care.
