I live in Lehi, but I wouldn't change my sons Dentist no matter how far I live away! It's worth the trip for me to drive up to Bountiful. Going to the Dentist myself when I was a kid was quite the trauma, I still fear going to this day. I didn't want to see my son go through the same thing. Luckily a good friend refereed us when my son was just 3 years old, and I have never stopped taking him to there. He has had a lot of work done (very much needed) and each time he goes in, the staff and Colleen treat him so very well. They make sure he is comfortable and they take extra precautions to make him feel at ease. He is now 8 years old and although he still doesn't like going to the dentist (what kids does) he isn't running and hiding like I use to when I was younger. He looks forwards to watching the movies and the toys he gets at the end. Most of all, Colleen is always looking out for her patients dental care, she never seems to endorse the 'typical' teeth cleaning that a lot of other places do (as often seen). Instead, she tells you which products she has seen that have worked extremely well and if the child should be using it. She is very easy to talk to, friendly and she answers every question with her expertise. She has been in the industry for awhile and I can tell she is always up to date on the newest procedures. The dentist office doesn't smell like the typical dentist either, I believe that is what makes it more enjoyable. It's warm and inviting rather then cold and formal. The place is very clean and it feels like a home. If you are worried about your childs teeth, I would HIGHLY recommend coming here. Each of our three youngest kids went to Dental Care 4 Kids, Dr. Colleen Taylor, from the time they first saw her as an infant to when they were teenagers. Unlike my own experience as a kid, my kids loved going to see Dr. Taylor. They actually looked forward to it and now today as adults, they like going to the dentist. My parents took me to their family dentist and I had an awful experience as a kid and to this day, I do not like going to the dentist. Dr. Taylor is a great pediatric dentist and as a mother herself, she knows how to be both professional and personal and adds her care with a mom's approach as if your kid was her own and how they would want to be treated. And the staff there is so friendly and our kids loved them too. We highly recommend Dr. Taylor and her staff to any infant, toddler, child, and teenager.
