At our practice, we like to keep things logical. We follow the WIDIOM rule when advising patients whether to undergo a particular procedure or recommending an alternative. WIDIOM is an acronym for “Would I Do It On Me?” We would only recommend the procedures that we ourselves are comfortable with.
