How Patients Feel

5THEY WILL TRY AND RIP YOU OFF!!! They consistently over-bill their patients. Instead of billing you your actual copay based on the agreed rates with you insurance company, they try and bill you for your percentage based upon their billing price. Just because you bill my insurance company $200 for a procedure doesn't mean I pay 30% of $200! I pay 30% of the rate you have agreed upon with my insurance company (considerably less). I'm still waiting on a correct bill for over 2 months now. I shouldn't have to use my insurance company's EOB to find out how much I actually owe. NO OTHER MEDICAL FIELD BILLS LIKE THIS!!!! - Response to response If you don't overbill, then why do you even bother sending "Estimated" bills to customers? why waste the paper unless you're hoping they'll pay more than what they owe? I don't care if a few months later you'll cut a check and make it right. It's NOT YOUR MONEY.
