5When we first went (when my daughter was 2), everything seemed fine. I was allowed to go back with her. Since everything seemed good, we just kept going even though they are out of network. I just took both my kids for a cleaning a couple of weeks ago. I received my explanation of benefits from my insurance and they charged for fluoride. I refused fluoride for my son. He went back by himself, so I don't know if he got it, but I know I had to sign a form refusing it. I called to explain this and the person I talked to slipped up and said that he had fluoride in 2014 and it was charged to my insurance. I know this to be completely false, since I went back with my son in 2014 and had to restrain him. I'm very disappointed in this. They said my daughter has two cavities that need filled and I'm now going to take her to a different dentist. If they are willing to be dishonest about fluoride, I can only imagine what else they would be dishonest about.
