1We were "shopping" for a dentist for our 3yr old son. We had 3 lined up. First office my wife had been to previously but they were closed the day we stopped by. She didn't have a glowing review for them so we went to Grove Dental next. They were professional and answered all questions and very nice so my wife decided we didn't need to visit the 3rd dentist and made an appointment. I took my son to the appointment and it was very smooth and informative. The hygienist answered all questions (some before I asked) and made my son feel comfortable right away by explaining all the equipment and letting him see them before she even started with his exam. She cleaned up his teeth and Dr Lee came in to inspect as well and again made my son feel comfortable and spent time with me going over his care and I felt much better upon leaving knowing what had to be done and what we should be teaching our son at his age - I know teeth cleaning is straight forward but finding out what age for flossing, fluoride toothpaste, etc... is helpful. I'm surprised by the previous review as it seems completely opposite from what I experienced. In fact my son was so proud that "everyone wanted to see" his teeth. The next day he bought my his stuff lion toy and asked if I could check it's "teeth" (which it didn't have) but I thought it meant a lot that he was willing to play dentist and I don't anticipate him being afraid to go to the dentist in the future.
