7Dr Arabia gave me the perfect solution to the jaw discomfort I had for lack of alignment. Recommending a treat my teeth misalign with invisalign trays. I not only have recovered full mobility of the jaw but as bonus have a much nicer smile. Forever grateful for going through the treatment and having Dr Arabia overlooking my progress and treatment. 10Unfortunately, I had a significantly disappointing experience with Clear Dental Studio. I am not here to argue and throw out insults so that I can be put in the corner and deemed a "difficult" patient. I am doing this in hopes that it gives someone else the courage to speak out, because I know from experience that doing so is daunting and at times very scary, especially when the medical facility's public appearance is made to look near-perfect. It can make you feel crazy, but you are not. How Clear Dental Studio treated me is indicative of where American healthcare gets its reputation: impersonal and money-driven. Clear Dental Studio was outwardly nice, but they were not kind. There is a difference. Sure, they asked basic "how are you" questions and nodded their heads to pass the social niceties test, but they did not listen or truly pay attention to my, the patient's, needs. They hammer you with patient contracts multiple times in a single short-lived "efficient" appointment, but there is not an intention to follow through with them for the patient's best interest. It is just to protect themselves if they are brought before the dental board or court, that's it. In my situation, items were agreed to verbally but they were not followed through in addition to other discrepancies. Furthermore, information that I provided to Clear Dental Studio was either not paid attention to or there was a lapse in communication between staff and the doctor, I will never know. Either way, it resulted in a very heated and inappropriate one-sided confrontation by the doctor who did not complete the procedure. Before I am corrected or told that I "could have gone back" to get it completed, please understand that the level of emotional discomfort and safety concern that this incident created, any typically functioning human being wouldn't go back. Patients deserve far better treatment than that. Because Clear Dental Studio would not refund any of the cost ($998), I have had to wait two months to be able to afford to have another doctor redo the procedure. I've lost weight because of my inability to chew on one side of my mouth and the pain from the inflammation that occurs anytime I eat something with higher levels of sodium. If this is best practice for a medical facility, let alone a dentist, I fear for what else has or will happen to others. Unless you, the patient, have the means to take it to court, there is no way to hold them accountable. I tried through the Colorado Dental Board to no avail. So, as a person with average means, you just have to cope with the discomfort and/or pain. We should expect much more from our healthcare providers. 10I do not care what negative responses are left here, Dr. Yowell is an Excellent Dentist and he is Very Professional in All areas of his practice!!! Those who are giving him negative reviews do Not know or understand him and his staff!! They are very friendly, informative, caring, and Extremely Pleasant to be around!! They treat me like family and I have NEVER felt uncomfortable nor have experienced any pain relating to any treatment they have performed on me during any of my visits and I will gladly defend his loyalty to his profession!! I will ALWAYS return to Dr. Yowell for ALL of my dental needs!!!

2I was very impressed with thus practice! Starting with the reception area, which was excellent. Very professional, extremely helpful handling my insurance, and friendly. My hygienst was so nice and thorough with me, explaining what she was doing and why. Kristin, my dentist, has a very relaxing presence. Thoroughly enjoyed this visit!
