Bucktown Dental Associates

I went here to get a tooth extracted and after initially seeing me they left me in the room to take care of a walk in who came after me. They took care of her for 40 min! So i started looking around cuz i was bored and i noticed the utensils They used on me had BLOOD and CAKED ON GUCK! I went to spit and their sink to get germs that were now I my mouth out and it had old yellow dried up spit in it! A lot of it! I opened the door to see where they got my utensils from and the other dirty utensils that were \" sanitized\" were in an old chapstick container uncovered. With dirt dust and dried spit that had setteled at the bottom of it! I took pics and then shorty after the dentist came in. I calmly asked him about the utensils that they used on me. I said these look very dirty. And they (dentist and male asst)said that's cuz they're used but there sanitized. The dentist started out very confident saying that the caked on stuff was deposits from being steamed. And i said well steam is clear right? And the deposits should be a clear cloudy color than Right? He started getting tense but continued with a fake smile And said yes. So i picked up the utensil that was used on me and said well this is red like blood. And he said that's Just a stain. So i said really? I took my nail n scratched it off he just stared at it not knowing what to say. So then i took the chapstick container that had the \"sterilized\" utensils in and i asked him \"these are sterilized right?\" He said \"yes\" So i showed him the Bottom of the container which had crumbs n dust n dried spit and he didn't know what to say He was clearly irrate. He asked his asst what it was and the asst said \"Dust.., i have to clean it\" and the dentist said \"DUST?!\" As if he didn't know. And i said \"so u guys put ur clean tools in a \"Dusty\" container?\" I told him calmly \"look you guys deal with ppl mouths! And u cut into their gums when exacting a tooth. You CANNOT use filthy utensils, your going to get someone very sick that's how you can transmit AIDS!\" He started babbling again and i said id like to go please cuz he was blocking my way out. He moved out of the way. I told him i took pics cuz this is very unsafe. I also told him it was his fault for taking some random person without an interview ahead of me cuz if you hadn't i wouldn't have ended up looking around and im so glad i did. I could have contracted AIDS Today. Well actually. I gotta get checked cuz i had a bloody tool in my mouth. Thanks doc! (DR YASSER ELSEWEIFI) Now i gotta stop breastfeeding my baby till i get cleared?? what a horror show of a dental visit! As if my dental phobia wasnt bad enough!
