VERY NICE DOCTOR AND ASSISTANT. THEY HAVE THE MOST UP TO DATE EQUIPMENT AND I DID'NT EVEN HAVE TO WAIT!.
I wish I could give 0 stars. I'd honestly rather go back to paying for my own private insurance through ObamaCare, and that was a nightmare. I absolutely dread having to deal with this place. A good number of the staff is quite rude, especially some of the nurses, and for being a military facility, they suck at following directions or following through with what they say. It's worse than pulling teeth or clawing out my own eyes to get anything done, or to get any answers. Any time I've ever had lab work done, I'm told I'll be called the following day with the results. Not only does no one ever call me, but I have to call multiple times over several days, usually to which no one will connect me with my provider or a nurse to give me my results, and put in multiple requests for results to ever get an answer. I've been treated like a child and an imbecile so many times, I can't wait to NEVER have to come here again. I'm Navy and got impaneled here, and I may ask to get put on the waiting list to get transferred over there for the last few months I'm in Charleston instead of dealing with this place. I think my anxiety and overall health has decreased because of having to come here and deal with them. Also, my provider has repeatedly denied requests for referrals for specialists that I've needed. (Including a GYN, which I should have regardless.) I've always hated coming to the doctor, but wow. This is a whole new level of contempt and frustration. Not to mention, whenever I've tried to talk to someone about my issues with the staff/etc. I get sent on so many different dead-end paths that I'm never able to actually voice my complains with a commander, advocate, or otherwise. They don't care about your health, and they don't want to hear if you don't like it..
This place is a total joke!! I called to schedule an appointment for leg pain and they scheduled me an early appointment which I had to work around my work schedule. I went there and the clerk said that they had me for a date in March! They didn't apologize or even offer to try to squeeze me in! I called the appointment line back to see about getting a referral and they said that I have to be seen on base first! No way in hell will I be going back to base! They don't care about civilians and they are incompetent..
Very good dentist was not painful having an extraction done at all .
