How Patients Feel
POSITIVEPatient Reviews
1I had great service at this clinic. I recently had my wisdom teeth out at the Edina office. In regards to the previous review, most clinics will charge this amount for a down payment. Since insurance company's don't usually pay 100% for this service they require a down payment. I checked into two other clinics regarding this policy and found it to be the same across the board. I contacted my insurance company and was told the same information about the down payment for this procedure. Although I did get dry sockets, it was not for lack of skill or attention from the staff at Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. I have a history of poor healing, so it wasn't a surprise. When I did have problems, the staff was extremely nice and saw me immediately! I had an appointment within an hour of when I called. I also needed to call their after hours emergency line a couple of times and had the on-call doctor call me right away. They were always very helpful and nice. As far as pain medication goes, I had a bad reaction to Codeine and was told to stop taking it right away. Generally, oral surgeons do not give anything but Vicodin or Codeine for this type of procedure. Taking a consistent amount of ibuprofen really is the best way to treat the pain in this case. I would recommend this clinic. They were so nice and attentive. They listened to me and I felt like they cared about my personal situation. My surgery was great and they look excellent care of me. I was so nervous but they made me feel safe. The office was nice and clean and parking is free (at the Edina office).
