How Patients Feel

4I cracked a crown and my tooth was KILLING me. New in town, I checked the 5280 Magazine’s list of top dentists. Dr. Lampert’s name appeared half a dozen times over the years so I took a chance and called her office. To my surprise (I figured with all those rewards, her office would be too busy to answer the phone) the call was picked up after the first ring by a real person. ONE STAR. I explained my problem. The receptionist listened, asked thoughtful questions, and told me to expect a call back shortly. I hung up, resigned to another day, even two, before I heard back. But the phone rang less than two hours later. It was the dentist herself! She listened to me describe what happened (broken crown) and said she’d see me the next day! TWO STARS. The next day when I showed up for my appointment, I was greeted courteously and ushered back to the chair on time (no waiting!). The office is bright and cheery, and (a plus) there is lots of parking. Dr. Lampert removed the rest of the broken crown and fitted me with a temporary. The whole process took less than and hour and there was NO PAIN. THREE STARS. A month later I had a second appointment for installation of the permanent crown. Again, my appointment started on time and again, Dr. Lampert was professional, pleasant, and knowledgeable. She took the time and care to make sure the new crown fit properly (there was NO PAIN during the process); she did such a good job, I can’t tell it apart (by look or feel) from my real teeth! FOUR STARS. A few weeks after that, I made an appointment for a teeth cleaning. Dr. Lampert’s staff are as skilled and friendly as she is: no pain, my teeth were cleaned well, and I was in and out on time. Total rating: FIVE STARS. Professional, knowledgeable, skilled, informed, caring, thorough, and just plain nice. Would (and will) visit Dr. Lampert again!
