How Patients Feel

15My 18 year old son had an appointment for a regular yearly checkup in August. The only reason we came to this clinic was a change in insurance. We were told that he needed a deep cleaning scaling procedure and that he had multiple cavities, one of which would likely require a root canal. We both got a bad vibe from the entire experience. I decided to take him back to our regular dentist and just pay out of pocket. They did an exam and X-rays, and located NO cavities. I would be most interested in knowing what kind of scam artist suggests doing a 100% unnecessary root canal on an 18 year old with healthy teeth. Thank God we trusted out instincts on this. Steer clear of Great Expressions unless you want to endure and pay for a lot of fabricated issues.
