How Patients Feel
NEGATIVEPatient Reviews
2Never got to see Dr. Veis. In my opinion, this practice is suffering from all the ill effects of a large medical franchised organization. First, as a new patient, there was more paperwork than buying a house, so I did it in advance and emailed it a week earlier as they advised. When I got there, they said they didn't have it even though I had an email confirmation it was received (fortunately I brought a copy). Then I asked about a few things that are my treatment preferences and got a cold perfunctory \"my way or highway\" response from both people in reception and the hygienist (e.g., x-rays every 2 years instead of 1 year unless there is a cause for earlier and I didn't want periodontal probing with each cleaning since there is no sign of disease). They were unwilling to even discuss my preferences and their replies were mostly using scare tactics and oft-citing corporate policy. They showed absolutely no interest in the concerns of the patient. I asked to talk to Dr. Veis to confirm these were in fact his policies, and was told he was unavailable, even though I was there at the scheduled time for my appointment. Also the office was rundown and empty of patients. I think I know why.
