I had an appointment today at Smile Pro Dentist where she was helping out on 1-11-24 at 12 pm for a crown. Let me just say, not my first crown, not my first filling. I have been with their office for years and had implants and so forth done. Which is to say this is not my first time being numbed (not my first rodeo). I felt like today I was a total inconvenience to her. Maybe she had something else better to be doing but drilling in my mouth was not going to happen with her attitude. 1. I have a bad back. I understand you have to lean and work on my mouth (again not my first time). I will allow the chair to go back as far as I can take it. She automatically, ergonomically I can't work on your mouth. So she started off with an attitude. You're going to have to tilt your head all of the way back and open wide. I can hear the attitude all in her voice. Not my first rodeo so before while she was gripping it was already being done.2. Then she put the needle in my mouth and when I felt it go in, I hit her hand. You can't be hitting my hand, you bent the needle, look what you done. Take a breath!!! Woo sah. Still complaining and looking at the needle. You know you didn't come in with numbing cream first. Oh that's not needed. Don't ever do that again, you bent the needle. Where is the numbing cream???? I thought they did it already. Which one is it, not needed or thought it was done already???3. She put the numbing cream in my mouth, at this time anxiety is on 10. You know they can give you something she pointed to after saying it a few times to calm your nerves. No, I just need a dentist with compassion. Like the other ones here. You know what let me leave. 4. She proceeded to say let me rinse your mouth. Whole right side of my shirt on the shoulder is wet. She just kept looking at it. Talking about it looks loose. You did it on purpose. No apology. No offering of a paper towel to dry the water off the sleeve, nothing. So I proceeded to grab my coat, purse and glasses and stormed out of the room. I was treated like less than a human being. How dare I come in there with a bad back and needing to be numbed. She should never be allowed to practice in your office. I would rather have my appointment cancelled due to overscheduling than to be treated like I was oday. I will be putting my experience on healthgrades and every other site she participates in so that I can warn her potential patients of what to expect. .

Doctor was good but the Dental Care of Michigan practice is horrible. Never recommend the practice. The Billing department is horrible. Called the billing department several times and never received a return call. Called the office and was put on hold for more than an hour. When I asked why I was put on hold for more than an hour, there was no remorse and were just indifferent.. They sent me a bill of $1600 in Feb 2021 starting from 2019 when I visited them 2 years back ..
This has been my number one worst experience with a dentist ever. He is very rude and short when you ask questions. As a new patient, he didn't even introduce himself or say hi when he came in. He definitely seemed annoyed by seeing his patients. I would never recommend this dentist, ever!.
