I wish I could give this place 0 stars because aside from the fact that they do good work, they are dishonest. I called about a month ago to ask about the price of a retainer set. The woman on the phone told me it was $275 for both pieces and I clarified: $275 for each or for both and she assured me it was the net price to buy both. So I went in and was fitted for both and they were very helpful and accommodating. Three weeks later I went back to pick up my retainer and they only had the bottom piece. I asked where the top piece was and the doctors were unsure of how to handle the situation and the receptionist was absent in the middle of the day. The doctors seemed sorry about the whole situation but ultimately they were incredibly unhelpful. They told me to call back the next but I have been busy so I hadn't had the chance. Today I get a call from the office and when I called back I told the receptionist that there was a misunderstanding and that I hadn't received the top retainer piece that I had paid for. She was condescending and spoke to me as if I were an idiot. She said \"no, it's $275 per piece, I told you that\" in possibly the snottiest tone I've ever heard. I told her that I had made it completely clear with her personally that it was $275 for the set. I could have accepted a misunderstanding if it weren't for a couple of other things: one, the doctor showed me the receipt for my bottom piece and it said that it costs $60 for them to order the piece from the lab. I had thought that $275 for one piece that they only pay $60 for was an unfair price and now that I understand that this is their fee, I can say that the piece was completely overpriced. Two, when an impression is made to create a retainer, the lab destroys it afterwards so I don't understand why I was made impressions for both if apparently I only paid for one. The only logical conclusion I can draw from this is that they intentionally set the situation up for me to be ripped off. Whether this was the true intention or not, I am left with a very low opinion of this establishment. I found this unfortunate because the people were very nice. However, kindness cannot make up for the incompetency of the doctors and blatant dishonestly of the receptionist. Overall, I suggest you find a place that you know is reliable, because this is not a trustworthy office.
