I have visited Dr. Pavlov multiple times during the year. During my first visit I had a good impression about his performance. Eventually and unfortunately, I had to change my opinion about his service and his office. The doctor don’t provide you with a written copy of the treatment with charges of each procedure in this plan. This way it is impossible to keep control of his work and the billing/charges submitted to insurance companies. First, it is very difficult to schedule an appointment. The desk employees-girls are constantly rotated. If you schedule the time and the day of appointment, someone calls you a day before reminding you about the appointment and provide you with a different time which was negotiated in the office or asking you to switch the time. Now let us talk about Dr. Pavlov’s performance. He directs his staff to schedule the visit by the length of time (1, 2, 3…hours). This was he can show the patient that he spent with him 2 hours. My visit was for 2 hours. I came to the office promptly. From the 2 hours I spent half an hour waiting when the doctor or dental assistant calls me to enter the procedure room. Being in the procedure room, I was waiting another 20 minutes till the doctor stops by in my room. He runs between 3 rooms of patients leaving you in the middle of procedure and going to treat other patients in the other 2 rooms. Simultaneously he runs from one room to another. If you are asking him about the procedure, he replies in a nasty rude way shooting up your mouth. He doesn’t care about patients. He cares about the charges of claims submitted to insurance companies. The way his office operate is to maximize the reimbursement of the claims from insurance , the rest of the claims he asks to pay out of pocket . Not to mention with his cooperation with his dental assistants which he constantly rotates. I have been evidenced that in front of me he insults his assistants calling them non-qualified for this job and insulting the with cursing words. That’s not professional ethics. He claims that Arden dental has the best advanced technology which he can not prove. The third world countries have better technology and tools to treat a patient. We are in 21 Century. He claims that he can save you tooth and that he is a professional implantologist. I saw his work. It will last at least 6 months without warranty. He contracts cheap lazy Russian lab technicians who are doing and redoing their crowns and he must redo them again. It takes forever to put a crown/bridge in my mouth. He works with you like a carpenter or metal welder not like a human being and you are for him not a patient. Talking about his professional qualification, I want to mention that Mr. Pavlov was in trouble with Dental Board Disciplinary commission and had a record for professional misconduct. http://www.op.nysed.gov/opd/mar05.htm
