1Jerrold Wasserman filled a cavity that I had near the gum on the cheek side of my pre-molar in Sept. 2012. Yesterday, June 7th, the filling fell out. So the filling lasted about 9 months. I am under the impression that fillings generally last a life time. I have about 7 other fillings done by a different dentist over 25 years ago, both plastic and silver. None of them has come out and I have had no pain from any of them. Today I went to Dr. Wasserman to re-fill the cavity. The reason for my review is because he charged me to re-fill it, $125. In my opinion he should have re-filled it free of charge. He was there blaming me for why it fell out, saying that I brush too hard. I said no, I brush my teeth with a soft toothbrush after every meal. I told him, I didn't eat anything hard, crunchy or chewy, I don't chew gum, I don't eat candy anymore since he originally filled it. I did nothing extraordinary to my tooth and I think anyway that since a filling is going in the mouth where it's wet and teeth are used to chew, the filling is supposed to withstand these things. But he insisted that he needed to charge me when I think the work he did in filling it originally was unsatisfactory. He waved his arms at me like to shoo me away. His son came over to the waiting area to stare me down and then yell at me that he needs to leave. The secretary was saying stories about someone who had a foreign object in their mouth and maybe that's what caused it to fall out. I told them no I did not have any foreign object there. My opinion is he didn't attach it properly and it took 9 months to fall out and not even sooner like 3 months, because I have been treating my teeth well since I want to avoid anymore dental problems. I think the filling should not fall out at all, and also it's not years later, it's under 12 months. Fillings are not supposed to be disposable, not supposed to need regular replacement once a year. I feel that he didn't take responsibility for his poor work. And his son is very rude and confrontational like he thought he was going to bully me

4I saw Dr. Camp in Eagle River on an emergency basis while on vacation. A new bridge was creating some adjustment issues. Dr. Camp took excellent care of me. He thoroughly explained what was happening, everything he was doing and followed up with my dentist back home. I got immediate relief and was able to enjoy the rest of my vacation!
