I've been having lots of pain in my teeth and had seen several dentists and endodontist No one could find anything wrong with my teeth. I decided to see Dr. Syrop based on all the good reviews I read. He did a full evaluation and told me I must be clenching my teeth and I would only get better by buying his mouthguard for $1500 and a special mouth piece for $500 to wear during the day with oral gel to help the pain. I could not justify spending another 2k on top of the $525 he charges for a visit. When I told him it was too much money and that I could get a mouthguard for a lot less with insurance coverage from my dentist... he was done helping me and ended the consult. I've since seen a new oral facial pain dr that made me a mouthguard with special pockets inside of it for $300. Unless you have thousands to spend on overpriced treatments and mouthguards go somewhere else. I feel Dr. Syrop was only interested in making money off of me . He's taking advantage of people that are desp.
Dr. Kulick is a gem. He is brilliant and highly skilled and I highly recommend him..
My condition required expertise in TJM and jaw pain. My oral surgeon recommended Dr. Syrop and that is all that was needed. Dr. Syrop's attention to my pain, accurate diagnosis and treatment plan got me back to my normal upbeat self! I highly recommend him as he is my 'go to' expert when it comes to TMJ/oral pain..
