I wish I saw Paul's review before going in for my appointment. Dr. Grush has retired and this location was bought by a chain. They never notified me that Dr. Grush retired or that my insurance was out of network. They had me come in for my regular cleaning, which has always been 100% covered and never an issue and suddenly it cost me $175 dollars. They do the typical scams dental chains do, which is convince you that you need a deep cleaning which costs more money. All of the chains do this, I do not have gum disease and never need a deep cleaning when I switch to a private practice. They also shove clipboards in your face while your in the dental chair trying to get you to sign off on pricing. They quoted me around $1200 for a crown which I can get for half the price at another dentist. When I paid for my cleaning and when I was quoted for the crown they never told me I was out of network. Only when I asked for copies of my x-rays did they try and "win" me back by letting me know I would be in network in 45 days. They had multiple opportunities to tell me accurate information and inform Dr. Grush's patients he had left and they never did. It just was all handled in a very shady manor that I do not appreciate. I love Angie and Sarah and wish them the best, they are still there and I am glad they could keep their jobs. I can't go to a practice that does the same typical scams the rest do though, its not worth it, that is not how dentistry has to be. Stick with private practices if you want the best care with honest exams.
