How Patients Feel
POSITIVEPatient Reviews
1I'm not from here, so I don't have a family member who can give me recommendations. After trying another dentist in town for the last few years, all I can say about Dr. Willis is, "Wow." Her office is very efficient and welcoming; it felt like a fancy coffee place, I would have liked to have chilled and read a book in the waiting room. The office was not overbooked in the slightest. They had a cancelation before me and so everything went very quickly. I got the impression, however, that it is normally a short wait. The hygienist was very friendly, I believe her name was Rhonda. She was VERY efficient and thorough as well as welcoming and kind. At other offices I felt like cattle being herded through, but here I actually felt like they wanted to know about their patient (me). She removed tea stains on my teeth that the last dentist had left there for over 2 years. I thought they couldn't come out without bleaching! Dr. Willis was very kind and asked asked about my schooling. You could tell she really cared about what was going on in my life and was interested in having me as a long term patient. She shared stories with me about professors at WKU who incorporated her anecdotally in the classroom lecture, so highly do her patients think of her. She also recommended an oral surgeon for my wisdom teeth and an orthopedist for my potential braces; and she did it with such confidence and decisiveness that I felt she really thought about who I was as a patient and what I needed. Overall, it was a great experience. I am anxious about going to the dentist. But they made it about as enjoyable as possible.
