I love going to the dentist & get my teeth cleaned regularly every 4-6 months but needed to find a new dentist, as mine retired. I got an appointment w/ Dr Manela. The dental hygienist was VERY nice. Oddly, I had to go back TWICE for the cleaning... ? In all my years I\'ve NEVER had that happen. The total for the cleaning ran me over $400... NO X-rays. THAT should have been a clue. But, I went back to fill 2 small ridges in 2 molars along the gum line. The procedure required NO drilling or pain shot. I also had a small chip fixed in 1 tooth. Dr Manela did a GREAT job, but no exaggeration, I was in his chair for 5 MINUTES. Doc said they were \"easy fixes\". The bill for the 3 \'easy fixes\' was a shocking $997. I wasn\'t advised of the cost in advance, which I thought was BEYOND extreme. My husband was FURIOUS. I tell everyone about it now. I asked him for an adjustment & got a \"NO\". He\'s a Beverly Hills, Dentist & WAY too expensive for me. GREAT dentist... but $$$$$$$$$$
