4Went for an initial visit and he kinda scraped around my teeth (no dental assistant) but nothing thorough (I hadn\'t been to a dentist for years, there was certainly a lot of buildup that needed scraping). Dental tools weren\'t laid out on a tray at my side like I\'m used to seeing, they were in random cups like I keep my toothbrush at home. He never mentioned the obvious cavity I have so I mentioned it at the end of the appointment and he went back and scraped at it with a tool and said \"oh yeah, you should probably book an appointment and come back and get that filled.\" I never went back. It didn\'t seem sanitary and the cavity was so obvious, I don\'t know how he didn\'t address it until I brought it up.

21Dr. Menendez has performed many dental procedures for me over the years such as bonding, basic fillings, crowns and even a bridge. When I arrived at his practice 15 years ago my teeth were a somewhat of a mess. Poor home care and very irregular visits to the dentist over the years left me with a long list of things that needed to be addressed in my mouth. Instead of overwhelming me, Dr. Menendez broke things down by priority - explaining in detail why some things needed more urgent attention than others. When you are in the chair he has a calming nature and sense of humor that puts you at ease. Then he and his team complete the work that needs to be done all the while making sure that there is minimal discomfort. I\'m trying to figure out how to make this 10 stars!
