I was a patient here from the ages of 11 to 15 1/2. I had braces and the orthopedic dentists at the time were students who had no prior experience with braces or children. They almost always did a shoddy job, the wire was either too short or too long, it would end up breaking, there was always some issue that occurred during the weeks between appointments. Because of their mistakes I have severe scars inside of my mouth and I am now 19. During my time as their paitieng I didn’t know how to voice my discomfort and frustration. I come from a working class neighborhood with a large population of minorities. This school of dentistry would always offer their services here under the guise of being less expensive (I’m pretty sure they were using us as guinea pigs), it wasn’t. I could’ve gotten the invisible retainer (Invisalign, I believe) for much cheaper in the long run. Many kids in my neighborhood had similar experiences. And it wasn’t even worth it, do yourself a favor and find a local orthodontist with years of experience. Anyways, this is my experience with them and I hope it helps you!

I recently had a emergency while vacationing in Mt. Pleasant SC. I just happened to find Dr Tara Griffins office and how fortunate I was!!! Not only did she work me in to her schedule but she was kind, knowledgeable and treated me so well. She assessed my problem and got me connected to an Entodontist the same day to resolve my problem. The staff in this office were very friendly and kind as well. I would highly recommend this dental practice. Janet Life, Key West, FL
