I had a tooth extracted here by Dr. Patrick Chan. His staff was not helpful or informative, and neither was he. I believe that the work was done well, but I was not treated like a person, rather just a mouth, and they did nothing to assure me that the procedure would be smooth or give me any information about recovery. They asked me many times if I had any questions, but seeing as I am not an expert in tooth removal, I did not know what to ask. The moment that the procedure (which was painful, despite the novocaine) was done, I was sort of sent out with no instructions, other than to pay. I am currently in a lot of pain, despite the 2 vicodin, and highly recommend that others avoid Boston Oral & Facial Surgery.
