Dr Remington can be abrasive and takes his frustration and problems out on the front desk gals and his hygienists. Almost like he can do no wrong and it’s everyone else’s problem. I would just not go to him anymore but unfortunately we paid my daughters braces off and I’m kinda stuck. This is the first time he’s been like that with my daughter and she left in tears which is NOT OKAY! The office staff is amazing and the hygienists are extremely nice. Hopefully he can straighten up his attitude towards his clients and realize he’s not as perfect as he thinks he is and that everyone makes mistakes including him.
staff was friendly to get me in. Hygienist had a bad bedside manner, unkind. Second lady came in to tell you how much it was. She could care less about your situation. Dentist Remington was the ring leader obviously. He joked around and really didn't care. Wanted $1000 to reinstall crown.. Amazingly, I found sliding scale dentists. Colleges have student pricing also. I was into it for $2000. Pass..
Great dentist. Especially for someone not fond of anything dentist. He made me feel so comfortable and didn’t mind my extensive questions. ;) Wonderful staff.
My experience with Dr. Remington exposed some troubling practices that I think others should be aware of. He’s nice enough but that’s not a reason to stay with a dentist. Here’s what I saw and experienced. The office is moderately clean. There are very few people as Dr. Remington runs a one-man-show. Outside of the receptionist who was so kind, there was an assistant that just took X-rays and held the sucker thing. Other than to tell you to hold still, the only time she spoke was when she needed to correct Dr. Remington. The first time she spoke was when he was squirming to figure out what I was there for because he had the wrong patients chart up on his computer screen. The second time was to remind him he hadn’t filled the tooth yet after he was sitting me up to go. He was going to let me go home with half my tooth drilled out and no filing. Dr. Remington did the flossing and cleaning himself, which was thorough. He also did all the documenting on the computer. This was the largest problem. He was gloved but kept going back to the keyboard of his computer and typing and then putting his hands back in my mouth again. I don’t know how many times a day a keyboard can be sanitized before it ruins it but I’m certain if he still had the last patients info up on the screen, the keyboard probably still had the last patients germs there too. I got sick today, upper respiratory and sore throat. If I get COVID I know who’s to blame. Oh and the tooth he filled, he totally filed it down all around the edges even though the filing was in the middle. I can tell because my Invisalign has a bigger area than what my tooth can fill now. I don’t know about you but I thought holistic biomimetic practice was intended to preserve more of your tooth’s enamel not sand it off perfectly round? Needless to say I won’t be going back.
I have been coming here for 17 years, I love the staff like they are family! They always meet my family's needs and help us with whatever is necessary! Greatest desntist's ever!!!.
Dr is a nice guy, but does not listen to your problems. Daughter has had several wires from her braces that have been severely hurting and poking and rather than fixing them he said youll be ok just give it time. He thinks he knows what is best for your child..
