Dr. Kampf will impress you with his shinny personality. He will also use subpar materials and charge for high-end materials. He seems really nice and will smile in your face while he lies about why your dental parts are not ready. Do Not recommend his work or pricing. .
There’s not a better dentist on Long Island. Very professional office. Would highly recommend them.
Syosset dental staff are so kind and considerate. It is always a very pleasant experience. Kim at the front desk is on top of everything. JoAnn the dental hygienist is the best. Dr. Koback is very kind and puts you at ease. Always a pleasure to come to office..
Please be careful with this practice. Owner is NOt A MEMBER of the American Dental Association. He tries to perform, but his large business and factory setting causes inferior work, leaving patient the victim. His costs are high. He displayed unethical conduct for failure to comply unless he used blackmail techniques. (i.e. take off bad review and I will continue correction of your problem and services) . I personally was duped into having the end result handed to me in good form and faith, and it is being held pending the practice receives a promise no complaints would be submitted about him or his practice. He owns two Island Dental in Franklin Square as well. I had no ill faith content ...had no desire to submit poor reviews or go further with professional complaints. I was pushed into a corner to respond poorly by his request. If, he wasnt doing any wrong doings, then he wouldnt fear any poor reviews. This was brought to surface when the owner presented a "clear me of any bad by signing this form and I will give you your crowns that I completed and are ready" wow. that is blackmail! he caused his own problems. And, his work is inferior. Whatever ads say about cosmetic and performances are the opposite..
Went to Shine for mouth restoration, replacement old caps, tooth extraction and implant. 5 months later, have nothing but temporary bridge, which is cracked. The dental assistant placed it, it broke in two, instead of fixing it, she glued 2 broken pieces in, I have complained of pain from the broken piece pushing into my gum line, they cancel appointments, when I do go in, the dentist on that day States he cannot help, I need to make another appointment. I'm in agony. Initially, a price was set for my dental work and agreed upon. During the removal of my old crowns, the office manager came into treatment room and stated it would cost 12 thousand dollars more (raising initial cost by 50%). She stated I needed gum work, post work, and extensive restoration. It that point I had 5 old caps ground down to the posts, I was horrified, and said I can't leave the office with these "fangs" and agreed. The dentist then continued removing the remaining 5 crowns, placed the temporary. This took 25 minutes. I asked when I need to come back for the stated restoration, she said it's done. I even joked that it was a very expensive 25 minute treatment- $12500 for 25 minutes of extensive restoration. The 25 minutes were spent on grinding down other 5 crowns and placing temporary, there was No other time for this other work.No sutures, nothing. I asked for name of this expensive procedure that was performed, and Sharon, the office manager said to me "I'm not a dentist, I don't know " But you must know something, because it was you who came into treatment room to inform me of additional 12k charge. I also expressed my concern over a treatment tray that was used that was expired. I took a photo and expressed my concern. Sharon told me they use old boxes to store new supplies in. My saga continues, they have my money $22500 out of $27500 of initial quote. And I apparently owe them an additional $12500 for work that they can't name, so I cannot start payment without knowing what I'm paying for. In addition, the 2 lower implants with 3 tooth bridge they say is not able to be done due to where my nerve is located. This was only discovered 2 weeks ago. What was an exciting experience, to look forward to a new smile, has turned into a nightmare, financially, physically, emotionally. I was to meet with Dr W******** today to discuss my dissatisfaction, however, Sharon, the office manager called to cancel my appointment on hour prior because Dr W******** had a meeting.Another week of waiting in discomfort( cracked temporary bridge for 9 weeks !). There is so much more, I have pictures, I have recordings, emails. I'm stuck, they have my money, I have nothing but 1 implant( no abutment, no cap), a broken lower 3 tooth temporary bridge, and an upper temporary crown bridge..
Lied that my x Ray's showed I had 2 cavities.
