Always had prompt, courteous and competent care from Dr Hoffman. His office staff is delightful and he is a joy to talk to. He has diagnosed every issue I have ever had accurately and has steered me to orthodontic surgeons who have solved my problems as soon as possible. He even returns calls on the weekends. Dr. Hoffman has been our dentist for the whole 6 years we've lived in Swarthmore. My daughter, now 9, really likes him and looks forward her appointments with him because he makes her laugh. My husband and I like him too. We've never had complicated work done, just cleanings and checkups, but Dr. Hoffman's always been professional, congenial and good at his work..
If I could give no stars, I would. I'd had a large piece (that later turned out to be an old filling) come off my top, backmost, right molar. The soft inside of the tooth was exposed, and bleeding, but they wouldn't see me for a week. He was supposed to do a simple filling, part of which came off hours later-but he said it didn't matter. He didn't listen to what I had to say-or where I thought I had a cavity. I was in Swarthmore for college, so he was not my usual dentist. When I did go see my usual dentist, because of persistent pain in my top molars, he had grim news for me. The teeth that I though had cavities, and that I'd pointed out to Dr. Hoffman, did. Worst still, after my regular dentist did x-rays, he discovered that Dr. Hoffman had sealed a cavity inside the first molar I mentioned when he replaced the filling. It's likely that the cavity was the result of the inner tooth being exposed for a week. In total, Dr. Hoffman missed 3 cavities, all on rear, upper molars, and even sealed one inside a tooth. Luckily, my regular dentist was able to get inside and get rid of that cavity, as well as the other two, and make new fillings. However, thanks to Dr. Hoffman, I will eventually have to spend thousands on crowns, since there is barely any real tooth left of the three molars that were affected. I'd never recommend him, but my regular dentist, Dr. Christian Luzar is wonderful if you're even in need of a good dentist in the Coachella Valley..
Amazing & superb practice! My dad had a holiday emergency & even though the office was super busy Dr.Chermol STILL made the time to treat my dad with so much kindness & patience & truly helped him in his time of need! Kind, goodhearted amazing dentist! We've been going to him and will remain loyal patients for life! I HIGHLY recommend this practice to anyone who wants high quality, well priced, caring staff to handle their needs! A+ to everyone on this staff especially Dr Chermol-thank you for your kindness today and always!.

Dr Tom is the best! He gave me a new smile by reusing my two front teeth that had to come out because they were barely hanging on. Dr Tom then bonded eight of my teeth and with his expertise he created a brand new smile. It is a wonderful thing to be able to smile showing my teeth which I have not done in years. Thank you.
