The staff are extremely rude, unprofessional and unorganized. The dentists are not knowledgeable and seem like they have no idea what they’re doing. Save your time and money and go someplace else!!!!.
disposable mask down with her nose completely exposed. I should not have to as a medical professional to make my health a priority. And bracelets on each wrist, containing god-knows-what metals, and most certainly not disinfected, are another careless move. Why wear a mask and gloves at all if you do not follow simple protocol that makes them the most effective? Rather than obliging, she requested I find another dentist. How medical professionals like that even have business is beyond me. A physician, by comparison, would be sanctioned by the board of professions..
Best general dentist!! I would recommend her to anyone, especially to anyone who has a fear of dentists. She is Caring, supportive, she shows me my x-rays and explains what she is seeing in my teeth and gums so that I understand what is happening. I get a lot of root canals, when Dr. Yapport has to use anaesthesia, it's always pain free. And she is very patient and supportive during the process. Dr. Yapport's assistant is patient and caring as well. They are a beautiful team, friendly, professional, educative, and allow you to learn about what's happening with your dental health.

Dr. Yapport is a very knowledgeable, no non-sense doctor. I've gotten braces, veneers and 3 root canals with her (1 that was done by another doctor in nyc that messed it up by not fully cleaning it out). Dr. yapport understood that I was a baby with tooth pain, so she was super soothing and did stuff as quickly as possible. Her staff also checked on insurance pre-approval for me while i was in the chair to make sure I was covered- nobody else has ever done that for me. The veneers are awesome.
My 7 year old daughter had an abcess in her foot from playing on the beach. The nurses were wonderful. The doctor was a total monster as far as care of a child is concerned. No bedside manner. No explanation. No introduction!!! He did nothing to calm her. He did not numb the site. Before she was ready he began slicing her foot open, insisting that she couldn't feel it. My daughter was terrified and in a lot of pain. He blamed her "wiggling" on the pain and said I would need some,more people to hold her down. If you have a hurt child, go somewhere else.
