Much, much better than it used to be. However, the parking lot is still filthy and they need to keep their carts cleaner..
Here is a letter i had written to corporate describing an incident: I am commenting in hopes that something may be done about an incident that had occurred today at this location. I proceeded to go to path mark to stock up on supplies after this devastating storm and to my surprise this location was over flowing with people going in and out through one door creating a dangerous fire hazard. As i proceeded with my shopping i had found an amazing deal on isle 12, which stated that if you buy 3 bags of 12 oz hershey kisses, you only pay $2 dollars. I quickly grabbed 6 bags and proceeded to the line. Once i was in line i over heard the intercom state that they would not allow phone numbers to be taken at the register to receive the PAC discount, and because most of the items in my basket would benefit from this discount i began to get worried. Me and my girlfriend contemplated whether she should run to the house and grab the PAC card and decided not to. We simply decided to ask the lady in front of us if she could scan hers for us. After asking her for her card we began talking and thats when i had mentioned that there was a sale on the hershey kisses. She proceeded to grab three bags. Once we had arrived at the register the cashier began scanning the lady's items and she quickly noticed the hershey bags were scanning at 4.99 a bag. She quickly pointed it out and the cashier went to the assistant manager or so i believe she was, i cannot remember her name but she was heavy set and had short hair brown hair. The manager after a short argument between her and the customer decided to honor it and kept the tag that i had pulled from the isle. Once it had arrived at my turn she began scanning the six bags and i quickly noticed they were also scanning at 4.99, i told the cashier that i had infact pulled the tag and i had mentioned to the lady to take advantage of this amazing deal. Much to my surprise the assistant manager told me that she would not honor it a second time, even after i had told her that i had pulled the tag off the shelf myself and had relayed the deal to the lady in front of me. May i remind you all of this can be visible on your instore cameras which they refused to review. I quickly told the heavy set lady that i would like to speak to the store manager. That is when i spoke to Paul De Castro who was standing at the door letting customers in, in groups of 5. I explained the situation to him and much to my surprise told me that he would not honor the sale and that i was out of luck. I proceeded to tell him that i had intact discovered the sale and i should be honored the sale as per store policy. The reason i know the store policy is because i had worked for path mark a few years ago and knew that if the tag was out on the isle that they would honor it, sadly this was not the case. I proceeded to ask Paul De Castro what happened to being respectful and that the customer was always right, he proceeded to laugh and tell me that in this case "the customer in front of you was right and you lost the sale". I proceeded to ask for the tag so i can report it to someone above them but they simply laughed and told me that it went in the garbage already and i could not have it. The management at the store on this day between 12:20pm- and 1pm was a disaster. The vulgar language used by the assistant manager at the U-Scan was appalling and if you review the video tapes you can see her grabbing a pregnant lady's basket (one who had fallen over by the cold cuts section) and telling her to get out of the store. All as she's shouting profanities in front of a line that reached the other end of the store. Rather than handling the situation in a professional manner she handles them as if she does not care about your store's integrity. .
Hands down worst grocery store around. The lines are insane and the workers have the worst attitudes. One time I was looking for something in the aisle and an employee was in the same aisle talking on her cell phone. When I walked up to her to ask for help she gave me this crazy look like I was interrupting. This location makes the pathmark company look really bad..
