no answer to repeated calls. no return on messages left. no answer to on-site message. no answer to email. the doc does not want standard patients, so i have requested my insurer to re-assign me. i do not have time for this stuff..

The actual care providers on the medical and dental side are pretty awesome 99% of the time, especially Dr. J on the dental front. Where the whole facility falters is the receptionists and the phone staff. These are some of the rudest people i have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. One person in particular is ruder than all others - Ruth in the dental office. I have never encountered a more disrespectful, condescending person in my adult life. This isn't just based on my own personal interactions with her, or those of my wife, but also based on witnessing her dealing with other patients. She is as unhelpful as humanly possible and should she ever find herself on the other side of the desk I hope she gets the same kind of treatment. She is one of those people that you just want to suggest to them to quit their job because it is so evident how much they hate being there. SMDH. The phone systems that you have to call in through are an absolute joke. I have not been able to call in and be on hold for less than 40 minutes in my history of being a patient there for the last 6 years. The left hand knows not what the right is doing when it comes to their office staff and phone people. As someone who runs a call center I can speak from experience about how you properly handle a call, because regardless of the income level we have, we're still people and we're still your customers. It's high time your office staff recognize that fact and be re-trained or replaced. They never schedule appointments with actual doctors even when you specifically ask for someone with a MD. They make you run around through unnecessary appointments and take your money without providing any services!!! Leave this place behind. They also cancel appointments at the last minute! They'll call you the afternoon of the day before and leave you messages. This is awful if you're someone who has a job and has to schedule appoints around a work schedule.
