NOT a gentleman. When I first went to see in to Cedar Cliff Dental, Dr. Hatcher was very charming and nice with a lot of folksy charm. I thought this was going to be my new fabulous, holistic dentist place. But after a crown (that was made in house by a laser) began to cause me a lot of tear inducing pain at night, I asked to come back and get it polished down a bit. No biggie. Well, it turned into a total Jekyll/Hyde moment when I came back in. He was rude and obnoxious as if he took it personally that it had not gone well. Really appalling behavior. His staff were embarrassed by him. Rightfully so. Needless to say, I went elsewhere. Amazingly, when I called to ask my dental records to be sent to my new dentist, they wanted to charge me $25. Yuck..
Dr. Hatcher is verbally abusive to his staff. While working on my teeth, he was belittling and mean to his staff. He yelled and at one point actually threw something over my head in anger. I have never witnessed such behavior while being a patient. I am very disappointed, as I have been trying to find a holistic dentist and unfortunately ended up supporting (by paying for dental work) an abusive and angry person. I will never go back to Cedar Cliff Dental and you shouldn't either..
I started going to Dr. Hatcher not long after I was transferred to Minnesota in 1985. My Company provided insurance forced me go to another dentist for a couple of years but after that I was able to go back to Dr. Hatcher and have been with him ever since. I consider him a friend as well as a very competent dentist. I had very crooked teeth for most of my life because I did not get them straightened as a child. About 10 years ago I asked Dr. Hatcher if there was anything that could be done with them besides wearing braces for a couple of years. He thought that by using the latest technology, he could give me a whole new look. I wish I could share the before and after pictures in this review. A totally amazing difference! I couldn't be happier and now it looks like I was born with perfect teeth. After 10 years, they still look as good as the day they were done! .
