I paid $250 cash for a consult for my son prior to his being seen. We did not end up going with their very expensive plan. A year after this paid consult, I receive another bill for $127.00. I call the office, and I'm told that this $250 was only a down payment, not the actual cost of the consult. 2 questions..... Why wasn't I told this to begin with? Why bill me a full year later? We'll see how this resolves. I'm waiting for the office manager to call back and explain this one. .
Dr. Pomerance is both professional and compassionate. I have been going to her office for several years and in that time, I have gotten over my fear of dentists. I was also able to avoid gum surgery due to Dr. Pomerance’s ability to detect and treat the risk factors I had, including periodic bleeding of my gums. I had my wisdom teeth taken out by Dr. Pomerance and before the appointment, I asked several times about any antibiotic or pain pills and was just told to take an over the counter pain pill, no antibiotics. I developed a severe infection in my mouth, resulting in a hard sack of puss forming and then exploding in my mouth and when I called her to let her know what was happening, she had the nerve to tell me I was wrong for not taking antibiotics, which she had never prescribed or given me..

Dr Poirier is a compassionate dentist who enjoys helping his patients to achieve their dental needs. I am very frightened when it comes to dental work. Dr Poirier put my mind at ease by explaining everything, in detail, before beginning any work. He has a very good chairside manner and is very passionate about dentistry and helping others.
