Dr. Samiramis Sando, DDS

I have a fear of dentists and am one of those people who is very hard to numb, frequently I've had to be given six to seven different shots, and still could feel the drill. Dr Sando was amazing! She was able to numb me up first time, extracted a tooth without me having to be knocked out, another first for me, explained everything in detail and was utterly professional. I will definitely be coming back for any future dental needs..

Dr. Samiramis Sando, DDS

Dr. Sando is very knowledgeable and efficient. I had a terrible experience at a previous dentist who left me with an infected filling, I was in so much pain and needed a root canal. She was able to assist very quickly and was very confident. No more pain in that tooth ! I'm definitely going back for the rest of my dental work!.

Bell Family Dentistry

One of my worst experiences ever in a dental clinic. I am new to the city and was looking around different dental clinics to decide on one to go 2. The receptionist was a teenager and was not friendly, her energy was very dense and negative. After meeting with the dentist and waiting on a taxi, the receptionist told me to leave and wait at the gas station. I said I am waiting on a taxi and she insisted on me leaving anyway. After leaving I saw a big black guy with ripped jeans and a dirty shirt starring at me and trying to start a fight???????? One of the worst experiences I've ever had at a dental office add I can assure you I will not be coming back! One of my worst experiences ever in a dental clinic. Crossroads Dental Group

I started going here because of the convenience in location. As of today, I will be traveling a little further to get prompter service at a lower cost. I suffered weeks with pain on #30 molar which eventually got extracted but not prior to a lot of run around. First, I was put on pain meds & antibiotics and sent home. Second, 3 weeks later, I was numbed prior to the consultation which I was totally fine with as I had been told that the tooth could not be saved. Well, No.. After dr finally came in and checked the tooth, I was then told it might be best to see another root canal specialist for his opinion. Third, I waited another 3 weeks & spent an extra $100 for a 5 min. consultation where I was told the molar was infected because of a pocket that had been left open where bacteria had been entering & further decaying the tooth. He said it needed to be extracted. So I went back & got the molar extracted the following day at Dr. Desai's office by a visiting dentist who was assisting. They extracted the molar and a tiny cyst that had formed from all the infection and waisted time. Fourth, that same day, I was told I had to get a bone graph and they needed $850 up front or pay at least $425 now & get billed later. I said I didn't have it so the visiting dentist pulled the molar & put in stitches. I was not offered any pain meds or any more antibiotics. I was told to come back in 1 wk to get stitches out. Mid wk I called & asked if on the date the stitches would be removed would I still be able to get the bone graph. I was told the visiting dentist refused to do it & Dr. Desai was leaving on vacation so I would not be able to get an apt with her for a consultation to see "IF" I could still get a bone graph until she return which would be in 1 month or so. Finally, I was so upset that I got on-line & found another dentist. I had to go get the stitches out then go directly to the new place who immediately took x-rays, placed in the implant & cleared out some bone that was needed to be removed for proper healing. Guess what? No bone graph was even needed. I got my implant sooner than later which saved from having to drill a lot more later PLUS I'm saving over $1500. He gave me antibiotics & pain meds. Funny but I was in more misery last wk when I got the tooth pulled & was not given anything for pain, than I am now. I am so happy I went elsewhere. Bye bye Crossroads Dental. Thanks but no thanks. You are much more interested in money than in quality service. Oh.. and I hated being called "baby" and "honey" and "sweetie". So glad I left. I don't have to hear the singing to songs & being all funny while I'm being poked by needles and drilled on..

Crossroads Dental Group

I started going here when they first opened. They were extremely nice and understanding. I didn't have insurance and they also helped me by giving me what I felt were fair prices on services. When I got insurance it is a HMO type and it was not acceptable to Crossroads so I changed dentist. Crossroads told me I could always come back for a free 2nd opinion if I felt it was necessary. I went one time to the new dentist for a cleaning. That was all it took and I went back to Crossroads! The staff and dentists just make the whole experience so much better..
