Yelled at my 4 year old for putting his finger in his mouth. Told us she would give him laughing gas but only used numbing gel, which didn't work because when she gave him the shot, he grabbed his mouth and started to cry. She ripped her gloves and mask off and told me the procedure wasn't going to happen and stomped out of the room. My son was so upset by the entire ordeal. We won't be returning. It felt like she walked into the room and had already decided it wasn't going to happen and gave up the first chance she got. Our appointment was at 8 AM. Don't work with kids if you can't handle them. The hygenists are all wonderful, but Dr. Vander Woude is not..

She was very rude and condescending before she even started the exam. The assistant had to apologize profusely for Dr. Vander Woude’s behavior..

This was my dentist office for a long time (insurance changed) and we loved Dr. Bob before he left..
Very judgmental and the wait took forever. Also had to wait over three weeks for my partial denture. Also heard from the dental Lab technician there that she isn't certified and she's the one mainly working on all the dentures. No wonder it took three weeks right? She also passed the knowledge along that Dr. Hatch almost killed a patient by giving him the wrong medication and made everyone in the office sign weavers. Apparently he proceeds to pay off the client every month to keep his word... That's the type of person I trust forsure! Stay away from this dental office! They also own insuricaid in town. Watch out!
