My family and I have been patients at Plantsville Family Dental for over 6 years. We've all had great experiences with Tom and his staff. Sue, his hygienist, does an excellent job. She is gentle and thorough and has a great personality. She is also very patient and loving with our son who has special needs. All this has been very important to us. Over the years, Tom has replaced all my original metal fillings, has created a partial, and done a root canal for me. He gives you all the options ahead of time so that you can decide what's best for you, and he talks you through the process when you are in the chair. I'm very satisfied with all of his work. He cares about you having a pain-free experience. I have confidence in his ability to maintain the health and soundness of my teeth. I've gone to Dr. DeRienzo for the past 5 years - he and his team are amazing, efficient and timely. I'm always greeted with a friendly hello and appointments are kept on time. He and his team always make you feel comfortable and take the time to explain everything about any procedure that you may have to have. I would recommend recommend him to anyone who needs a dentist in the area..
Dr. DiRienzo is a great dentist. I am the poster child for Fear of Dentists. He's the only dentist I trust. He practices painless dentistry and I've had cavity work, root canal, and teeth pulled in his office. And understanding my fears, he does my annual teeth cleaning himself. He's also a humorous guy and chats away while your mouth is full of various dental accouterments. His undergrad degree was in engineering and his approach to dentistry is more holistic than most.
