Been taking two kids (now teens) there for their whole lives. The practice’s cancellations have been high. rescheduling is 3 months out. They recommended unnecessary procedures: when primary dentist dr. Santamaria not available to check my then 9 year old, dr. Schneider checked him and recommended and scheduled (with his mother) filling in a baby tooth. Previous appointment had determined minor cavity in baby tooth was not in need of care. Only at my insistence was filling cancelled and Dr. Santamaria looked at it and agreed no filling recommended. (Was revenue grab by Dr. Schneider?). Tooth fell out a few months later. Today, they called hour before app to cancel saying dentist unexpectedly had to leave early. Offered January 20th as next available for 6-month checkup on 13 year-old. After I said I could come tomorrow and to have dentist call if that would not work. Dentist called —said he had to get haircut. If we don’t like it, find another practice. So unprofessional..
Dr Wichmann is excellent. He never does anything that is really needed. No salesman here. He is patient, kind and knowledgeable. Never a bad experience..

I had not been to the dentist in a long time. I had been to a couple other places but it seemed that what I wanted the others did not listen. I went to see David Edelson and let me tell you this, I had the best experience with this practice and I would never visit another. He listened to what I had to say and talked with me. I am nervous about the dentist you sometimes hear horror stories. But the staff are helpful and polite felt right at home and actually am looking forward to my next appointment. I even recommended them to a fellow co-worker and he will be using them now..
Well where do I start, firstly I would like to point out the receptionists/dental assistants are welcoming but I'm still confused after 5 years signed up why they don't just do one job. The practice is a former two bedroom property chopped up into litte rooms to form a shoe box dental surgery, you also have to be aware of the tenants above who share the hallway entrance (crazy). I once exited the reception after having injections to be confronted by a lady collecting her post while saliva was running down my face from having a numb mout. Dental work is very hit and miss, filling putty has been put in but not enough hardener was added. Dr Shah who is the main dentist comes off very friendly but he is money motivated, he does not like referring you to a dental hospital because of the funds they miss out on. There are many NHS and non NHS dentists that are great at what they do and offer great value for money unfortunately this is not one of them. Save your money and let my many bad experices save you the trouble of having any of your own.
