AVOID THIS DENTAL PRACTICE! After one of "Healthy Smiles" dental assistants shattered my tooth when taking off the temporary cap, the dentist coldly informed me that I would be charged an additional $5,000 for an implant to replace it. My husband and I had already sacrificed some personal items to come up with the $1,800 for the root canal and crown that was to go on this same tooth. Consequently, I went into cardiac arrest while still in their office and had heart surgery the next day. After we refused to sign a release of responsibility to obtain a refund for the crown, we demanded the refund and got it. We were then informed that they would extract the tooth root and also cover the cost of the implant, although, this would be done at their sister office in Ormond Beach. In fact, the then office manager there verified that HS would be paying for the implant. After HS cancelled an appointment to have that done, we received a phone call from their new office manager one day before the new appointment to inform us that they were NOT going to cover the cost of the implant. In other words, they refused responsibility for breaking my tooth and then backed out of their assurances to make it right. Others may be happy with how HS cleans their teeth and how the employees are so friendly. As for my experience with HS, it is obvious that this corporate styled business places their greed above the fair expectations of their patients. There are many other good and honorable dentists so avoid Healthy Smiles if you value your teeth..
Disappointed. 2 of the staff did not wear gloves when handling items that were to go in my mouth. I pointed this out and was told it was "no big deal." I said it was, it was going in my mouth. Dentist himself was very friendly and professional. Staff, including hygienist, was totally unprofessional, have no customer service skills, lack communication skills, etc. Spent 1.5 hours in the office for a simple xray and exam. No at all an office I would recommend..
I was very happy with Dr.Gordon's service until I received a letter from a collection agency saying I owed 72.00 from 2 1/2 months ago & I never even got a bill from them. When I called their office the person I talked to didn't really care & when I told her to cancel my appointment for a check up in June, didn't seem to care. I always paid them at the time of my appointment, hundreds of dollars some time. He needs to look at his staff or I can just believe he really doesn't need customers..

Just want to share my experience over a 20 year gap, taking in for consideration that i have multiple offices i frequent and can honestly give you a solid opinion.. There is a Dr Ray there who is a step above the entire area stretching an 100 mile radius.. DR Ray is a guy who will give you a honest opinion and many times rectify most situations very quickly without the pass off of trying to send you for services you dont need.. I am a snowbird and all i am saying is if you dont make this family Dentistry your primary care provider you will be SORRY AND SPEND $$ YOU NEVER HAD TO.. From the ladies up front to the dental assistant's this place is top notch.. iTS NO WONDER WHY THERE ARE SO MANY REVIEWS STATING THIS IS A 5 STAR ESTABLISHMENT .. So hey i want to thank Dr Ray his Staff by saying thank you for your upmost service you have provided me for over 20 years.. May people read this and know DR RAY WILL SAVE THE DAY!
