Dr. Bishop, Dr. Abey, and team are highly skilled professionals. I started working with them in 2013 on my teeth. Through their guidance and dental planning, my dental health has improved. If you have given up hope on dentists, I recommend a visit and meeting the staff..
Extremely unprofessional, $ is their only goal. I was hurt by debris left inside a temporary crown when Dr Abey was too busy to do it herself from overbooking. She had an assistant finish and that's when the debris/poison was left in my tooth. It has cost close to 10K trying to get past this injury and finally had to have the entire tooth removed. They would not refund me the $ I spent for her to put the temp crown on and my cost to have it pulled! Stay away from this practice..
My husband had some abscessed teeth, and went to Shirk seeking treatment. He got 2 week-long courses of antibiotics, but his teeth continued to worsen. He was also experiencing fever & chills. He returned to the office & one of the office staff said the dentist wouldn't prescribe any more antibiotics, and did not offer any further options. So we got an appt with an emergency dentist, who was appalled when my husband described the previous treatment. There was no follow-up by Shirk or anything..
My family and I have gone to Dr. Krizek for 25 years and it had been a great relationship from day one. When my kids were young, they were introduced to the whole process in a positive way and as such have had great dental care for years. I have bad teeth and Dr. Krizek has worked on them and helped me through it all the way. He recently put crowns on my front teeth and I am so pleased with the way they look. All of the staff is professional and caring. They have always turned our charges into insurance and then, billed accordingly. I can't say enough good things about everyone there..
Absolutely the worst customer service, they expect patients to file their own claims. Dr. Krizek will not hesitate to make excuses for his staff who is family and blame the patient. Apparently the patient is supposed to feel sorry for how stressful life is for them over everything else!.
